Material:
Typically, high-quality imported or domestically produced SUS304H stainless steel is used.
Material thickness (metric):
Typically, domestically produced etched EMC package leadframe materials are made from stainless steel in thicknesses of 0.1 mm, 0.12 mm, 0.15 mm, 0.2 mm, 0.25 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.7 mm, and 0.8 mm.
Product用途:
The light shield, also known as the camera‑head light shield or light‑blocking spacer, is made of stainless steel. After etching and blackening, it is embedded to provide light‑blocking functionality.
Product Features:
Made from imported ultra-thin, optical-grade stainless steel, this product undergoes a proprietary, specialized optical blackening and matte‑finishing process on its aperture ring, ensuring excellent electrical conductivity. It features double-sided matte finishing, precise dimensions, and a thickness as low as 0.020 mm, with complete light‑tightness. Its mechanical properties are stable, it exhibits superior high‑temperature resistance, and it is suitable for cameras with resolutions of 5 megapixels or higher, as well as automotive applications and more.
Product price:
The price is determined comprehensively based on material type, thickness, precision requirements, and production volume; larger batch sizes result in lower unit costs. Higher precision tolerances generally lead to slightly lower prices and higher first‑pass yield. For a detailed quotation, please provide the specific engineering drawings, required specifications, and desired production quantity. Drawing submissions can be sent to: yw5@zldsmt.com.
Etching processing capability:
Our company employs roll-to-roll degreasing, roll-to-roll exposure, and roll-to-roll ink coating, enabling high-volume production of up to 1,000 square meters per day. Monthly output exceeds 100,000 standard sheets of etched products, making us the domestic supplier with the strongest overall capabilities in blackening light‑shielding rings. For small‑batch, diversified orders, we can also deploy semi‑automated production lines, reducing associated operational costs. Our ultimate goal is to maximize cost savings for our customers, achieving win‑win outcomes. We are capable of processing substrates up to 600 mm × 600 mm in size.

Serrated-Aperture Diaphragms for Stray-Light Suppression
Yamagata Optical's patented serrated aperture-edge design offers clear advantages over conventional wavy-edge designs. This innovative geometry provides highly effective stray-light suppression. It reflects our long-standing commitment to advancing precision optical components through research and engineering innovation.
Ion Coating Dramatically Reduces Baffle-Ring Reflectance
Yamagata Optical's ion-coating process reduces baffle-ring reflectance by a factor of 8.6. In addition to multiple solutions for suppressing stray light at the aperture edge, we can apply an ultra-low-reflectance ion coating to both sides of the film used to manufacture baffle rings. After treatment, reflectance can fall below 0.3%, substantially improving camera-module optical performance.
Yamagata Optics lens hood ion plating technology
After ion-plating treatment, Yamagata Optics has achieved an 8.6-fold reduction in the reflectance of its aperture. Currently, in addition to multiple anti-glare and stray-light suppression solutions for the inner bore of the aperture, Yamagata Optics can also apply ultra-low-reflection ion-plating to both sides of the raw-material light-shielding film. Following this anti-reflection treatment, the reflectance can be reduced to below 0.3%, significantly enhancing the optical performance of the camera.
In optical imaging, light can be both essential and disruptive. An unwanted ray may reflect off a lens-barrel wall, scatter from a spacer ring or diffract at a baffle edge. The result can be ghosting, halos, light streaks, ripple-like artifacts or veiling glare that washes out the image. Together, these forms of stray light undermine image clarity, contrast and signal-to-noise ratio.
